“If Putin is successful in the Ukraine, where will he go next?”
“My name is Llewellyn. I’m from North Carolina. I’m a lifelong Republican, which means I’ve been a Republican for over 50 years.
“I was blessed to be able to go to a mission trip in the Ukraine about 12 years ago and met Ukrainian people and worked among Ukrainian people. My heart breaks for them. They’ve lost family members. They’ve lost friends. They’ve lost homes. They’ve lost jobs. Their lives will never be the same again.
“And I also fear for if Putin is successful in the Ukraine, where will he go next? He’ll go to Poland and some of these other countries and then the rest of Europe and then us. Plus, he’s only emboldening North Korea and China’s leaders to think that they can do this same thing. And just the way that they look down on Christians and persecute Christians, or anyone that speaks against Putin, we’ve got to do something to help them.
“Please give Ukraine a fighting chance. These people are fighting for their lives. They’re fighting for the future of their country. They’re fighting for their children. Just think if it was us, the help that we would need. But we’re not just helping the Ukraine, we’re helping all of Europe, and we’re helping America too because Putin would love an excuse to come after us.
“I know that, and I myself have thought at times we can’t save the world. We’re not the only country in the world. We’ve got to help these people. Our future, the future of our children and grandchildren, the future of the world depends on it.”
